We met in November of 2023! Henry was a junior at Baylor, and I was a senior at Louisiana Tech. We were introduced by a mutual friend, Madelyn Graham. She was a Kappa Delta with me at Tech, and her family is very close with the Googes. She connected us and helped set us up.

The very first time I ever laid eyes on Henry was when he knocked on my door to pick me up for our first date. He drove over from Shreveport, and we went out to dinner at Roma's Italian Restaurant in Ruston. We immediately hit it off, and the rest is history!

We spent the first 18 months of our relationship navigating long distance. For the first 6 months, I was at Louisiana Tech and Henry was at Baylor. Then, in August of 2024, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky to start dental school. Traveling back and forth between Waco & Louisville was not always easy, but we made it work!

Henry applied to medical school here in Louisville, and thankfully he was accepted! The day he got accepted was truly one of the best days of our relationship. Henry moved to Louisville in July of 2025 and started his first year of medical school.

Being together in Louisville has been such a blessing! We are so grateful for the way the Lord has worked throughout our relationship. His goodness has been evident to us.

Life in Louisville is good! We are both loving school and working hard.

We are so excited to get married and to begin our life together. We cannot wait to celebrate with all the people who mean the most to us. See y'all in December!
